**Rules**:
Long - Opposite for Short
Two time frames are monitored -- a Higher Time Frame (HTF) and a Lower Time Frame (LTF).
The HTF is the screen.? Trades on the LTF can only be taken in the direction of the HTF.
When the Coppock indicator is above the zero line on the HTF, the screening trend is up.? When the Coppock indicator is below the zero line on the HTF, the screening trend is down.
*The lower time frame **fades** the Coppock signals it receives.
*
When the Coppock indicator crosses above the zero line on the LTF, SELL (go Short or exit Long).
When the Coppock indicator crosses below the zero line on the LTF, BUY (go Long or cover Short).
Trades in the lower time frame can only be taken in the direction of the HTF.
## Deliverables
The Coppock indicator is attached.
This system is designed to identify the prevailing trend on a higher time frame, using the Coppock indicator in the traditional way.
It then uses the Coppock indicator in the opposite way on the lower time frame to identify retracements, so that trades are made in the direction of the main trend.
