We need a simple audio-rating website. We already have the domain, hosting and marketing set up.
Basically, we want to create a site like [[url removed, login to view]][1], but with audio files. Musicians will submit an audio clip of their music/band and visitors will rate the clip out of 10. Once they have rated, they will be taken to the next clip. Clips load in random order. Once you have rated the clip, you will see how other people rated it and have the option of visiting the artist's website. On hotornot, this is called **how others rated**.
Musicians will pay a very small (monthly?) subscription to have their clips listed. This will probably be handled through our **Paypal account**, but we are open to suggestions if you think there is a better way. There will be various options which affect how much you pay.
The interface must be as **simple as possible** and speed is essential. Each clip must load within a few seconds. We just want a standard audio player in the center and some facts about the clip that is playing - artist name, location, and a link to the artist's site.
As you can see, we will need an area where musicians can upload audio clips. We haven't specified an audio player or file type, but it may be **mp3** (coders are free to make suggestions on this). There will also be brief instructions to the musician explaining how to record and upload a clip.
Musicians can login at any time to check their score, so they must have an account with us. Like hotornot, we will have a **top 10**.

## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
