I need a website where all city events will be posted.
- simple,clear, vivid and colorful design
- Events must be categorized by types, time and place
- There should an option to fix some events on the main page (featured events)
- Adding new events should be easy and quick (like filling a form with several fields and choosing date, time, location)
- There should be 3 columns and events should be presented in blocks with a picture and short description (similar to this [login to view URL])
- When a user presses on one of the events blocks he should be transferred to a separate page denoted to the particular event
- Event search
- Type, Location and Time categories switches should be located on the main page. So when a user chooses categories the list of the events on the main page immediately updates (like sorting, for example like on ebay when you choose different categories, condition, location etc)
- User should not be able to see events further then 3 days ahead and 3 days before (So, 3 days before, Today and 3 days ahead)
- Social Login and Share
- website design and functionality should be good for mobile devices (phones, tablets)
- website will also be selling tickets using eventbrite service, so integration with eventbrite ([login to view URL]) is required
- Users should have their profiles where they will be able to see their purchases
- users should have an ability to offer their own event by filling out a form, attaching photos and specifying name, type, time and place of his event. That offer will be moderated by website administration and then posted if they decide to do that or rejected if event is not appropriate.
Wordpress should be able to provide all the features and looks like an easy way to go, but I am ok with other options, just tell me how you are planning to do that.
