1) An application, not an applet, written in Java with a GUI. Application contains a JButton. Disable the JButton after the user clicks it five times. Also, after the button has been clicked five times, display a message letting the user know that the button has been disabled.
2) This assignment should be an applet, written in Java with a graphical user interface. Create a JApplet with a JButton labeled with a question. When the user clicks the button, display a response to the question. Please insert comments in the program to document the program. The code should be written using the Standard Java Packages that were included in the SDK.
3) **2 Parts** Should be applications not applets, Java with GUI.
The first assignment is to write an application that throws and catches an ArithmeticException when the user attempts to take the square root of a negative value. Prompt the user for an input value and try to calculate the square root using the Math.sqrt()method.. The application either displays the square root of the number or catches the Exception and displays an appropriate message.
At a minimum the application should contain a text field for input and a JButton that executes the calculation.
The second assignment should be an application that calculates the price of a pizza. The application should contain a combobox allowing the user to select a small, medium, or large pizza costing $5, $10 or $20 respectively. In addition, the application should contain checkboxes allowing the user a choice of five toppings for the pizza. Each topping selected should add a dollar to the price of the pizza. There should be a JButton marked “Total” that will cause the total cost of the pizza to be displayed.
