Chat Interface in Javascript (repost)

Write a multi-user scripting editor in html/javascript/activex You will be writing over top of existing code, the main code uses a popular easy to use setup called "Codemirror" which takes care of syntax highlighting.? ? ? ? Connects to an IRC server ? ? ? ? ? ? and joins a static #channel ? ? ? ? ? ? where it displays a couple ? ? ? ? ? ? codemirror textarea boxes ? ? ? ? ? ? for input/output. * Read from IRC server messages (chat) ? ? ? and translate into a function of? ? ? ? selecting lines of code in the scripting ? ? ? editor.? Functions for selecting are? ? ? ? predefined already, but should be able ? ? ? to adjust if necessary. * Add a simple key handler that can read ? ? ? a keypress and submit to codemirror textarea. ? ? ? (specifically the Enter key) *? Add a background image to the codemirror ? ? ? textarea. ## Deliverables This project? will run locally (not on an http? server) so all file names for saving/opening/images are hardcoded for a local file structure. there isnt many lines so it shouldnt be too much of a hassle.
