Hello, I run a VPS with CentOs and Apache.
The server is hosting a couple of Joomla websites and running PHP as FastCGI.
Recently I had an increasing number of visitors and the website is often unreacheable and it goes timeout.
Your job is:
- to find out what the problem is
- to solve the problem so the server can work properly and the websites are always available
- optimize the Apache and FCGI configurations for best performances and stability
- optimize MySQL configuration if needed
