For a client of my business I have an old SCO OpenServer system. Because it is old fashioned we like to convert it to an VMware image. So I have made an diskdump with DD in Linux to copy the disk. That was no problem, the virtual machine booted in a few minutes. But now we have some problems: 1. The mouse driver does not function well; 2. The networkcard driver is wrong, so no network communication; 3. We don't know the root password so we cannot change the hardware configuration with scoadmin. I would like to ask you if you can reset the root password to 'password', change the networkcarddriver to a one that is working properly in VMware, and change the mouse driver to function properly too. The version of the SCO system is 5.0.x. We use this system for the diagnostics system of BMW cars. Communication via email, msn or phone.
