I have this problem: in the Magento Admin panel I put prices excluding VAT and magento add the VAT at 22% and shows the prices on the website include VAT, with two decimal places. The problem is that the price in the database, after the addition of VAT, becomes with 4 decimal places (€ 45.5284) even if in the site I see only two decimal places (€ 45.52) and when I add many items in basket The calculation is done considering all 4 decimal places. Then magento performs rounding the total to pay, and there is always a difference of a few cents compared to the price that the customer expects. I'll make an example: I have an item that costs € 229.8846 including VAT (€ 188.43 + VAT 22%) and the price the customer sees is € 229.88,
when I make the purchase, I can decide to buy an item related to what I've already put in shopping cart: price of the second object including VAT € 165.7614, the customer sees € 165.76,
Obviously, the customer expects to spend € 395.64, and instead, I see in your shopping cart € 395.65, because the total calculation is done considering all the decimal and then round: € 229.8846 + € 165.7614 = € 395,646 (rounded up to € 395.65). I need to achieve this goal: magento has to calculate the total price of items in the basket, considering only the first two decimal places, so there is no need to round.
