Contest Voting Results Recorded

I am reposting my original project because I decided I will do my project in stages. Brief Background It is a song competition site that allows people to vote for their favourite songs in various genres in a head to head battle. The songs are posted via youtube videos. It was supposed to be set up automatically to feature different songs each day or week depending on how often I wanted to change the songs. The songs will be ranked based on their winning percentage Now here is what I need to be done in this first stage. I'm currently able add and remove contests. However, the results of the votes for each removed contest is not recorded. There is currently search capability for the songs in the database but nothing showing the results of expired contests. So If I remove a contest, the songs involved are erased from database completely instead of being saved in archive. So what I need is for the users to be able to see the results of past contests. I also need to be able to change the text on the home page whenever I want. So that capability has to be set up in the admin panel. Once these are done, I will create more projects to complete this project. thanks
