Add submenu functionality to a Wordpress site

I had a coder change our old Wordpress site to a new site with new graphics but now the new site has no submenu functionality. We need that functionality restored. For some reason the other coder didn't think we wanted to keep that and doesn't know how to put that back into the header functionality. ## Deliverables I had a coder change our old Wordpress site to a new site with new graphics but now the new site has no submenu functionality. We need that functionality restored. For some reason the other coder didn't think we wanted to keep that and doesn't know how to put that back into the header functionality. It would be nice if the navigation was Wordpress 3.0 compatible so I can use the new menu function of the site but we don't necessarily have to do that. We do need it to work so that if I add more menu or submenu items in Wordpress that the menu automatically updates. I don't want a hard coded solution, I want something that works within the framework of Wordpress. We need this done before Monday. Thanks for your time.
