Need a Blackberry app that runs native for the storm and preferably storm2. the app needs to disable the dialing pad and replace it with a speed dial list. blocking incoming calls should be optional. the software will be geared towards a parental control and the ability to query the phone for GPS location remotely would be favorable. i have a pretty good idea of what i want the software to do, i just don't have the java ability to make it happen.
## Deliverables
The primary concept is an app that disables the standard dialing pad and replaces it with speed dial buttons. the project requires that the speed dial buttons should be fully configurable by the administrative end user. there should be at least 3 colums of 3 buttons and provides the ability to scroll through the entire speed dial list. the app should be configurable by the end user to accept all incoming calls, or only calls from numbers in the speed dial list. ignored calls should follow the default ignore [login to view URL] options and speed dial list should be protected from access by a password challenge. the options should allow for changing of the password, linking images to speed dial buttons and editing of the speed dial list. the speed dial database should be specific to the application and not read from the contacts list. the app should also monitor for a text message from a number on the speed dial list with a single pass phrase which will trigger an automated reply text with the current GPS coordinates. the intended function is a parental control, so large buttons and a pre-teen friendly gui are the focus, but giving it a second skin with a more professional layout for showing more speed dial entries per screen and being more suitable? as a lock utility for company issued blackberries would be a plus.
