Convert Drupal 5 Event Registration Module to Drupal 7

We require the conversion of an existing convention registration module from Drupal 5 to Drupal 7.
Our event currently uses a registration module which is written for Drupal 5, an overview of the frontpage is at [url removed, login to view] (this is the view for non-logged in members). There are also tabs to allow for registered members to be viewed (or their chosen badge name) to be viewed.

There is a pie chart to view the number of spaces vs number of registered members vs number of paid members.
It accepts signed in site members to register for a place, which gives then a set number of days with which to pay, if the person does not pay within the allotted time then their registration will be set to expired and removed from all visible lists but the registration details kept.
The payment methods are Google Checkout and Paypal which needs to use the API to communicate back to the module regarding payment status.
Logged in members are able to view any completed registrations, multiple registrations can be created per account.
Logged in admin members can view any users registration, set a registrations type of membership "press", "staff", "committee", "standard", "university" and any others that are defined, its payment status and its expiration date.
