I'm a photographer who takes photos for sporting clubs - in particular team sports. I'm looking for a talented App coder for iPad2 who has vision to bring this concept to fruition. Only experienced coders apply. One of the biggest hurdles is not only getting all the names and the correct spelling of the people in the photo; but also the order in which everyone appears (i.e. Back row L to R, Middle row L to R, Font row L to R etc.). I place at the bottom of the print team photo the names of those in the photo along with artwork such as the club logo etc. Background: Traditionally the Club will supply a listing of people in their club and we check off people as we go or alternatively the Team Manager / Coach notes the players in the photo. Irrespective there are always mistakes with the person in the incorrect position in the photo or more commonly a spelling mistake as the clubs generally never check their player listing. Hand written sometimes is open to interpretation of what letter is what which can lead to spelling errors?! App Proposal: To circumvent this lengthy process which generally takes more time than the Photoshop artwork of the photo itself, I would like to create an App whereby we can use iPad2 to take a photo of the team 'behind the scenes' by my assistant and register all name details while I take the good photos with my DSLR. See below for detailed description of project... ## Deliverables Concept of App: 1. Open App named ‘Photo Xlnce Manager’ on iPad2 by touching on icon. 2. App asks to either: a) Create a ‘New Photo Folder’ ??" Go to Point 3. or b) Open an ‘Existing Photo Folder’ (archive) to edit from the selection menu of photos in main folder ??" Go to Point 7. Full edit and cancel functions for Points 3-6 are applicable. 3. Next, select 'New Photo Folder' - edit function and cancel function, then click ‘ok’ 4. App prompts user to take 1 or more photos and then to select 1 image by clicking ‘ok’ once user is happy with the best photo. Cancel function available. 5. App prompts name of photo such as team name ??" edit function and cancel function, then click ‘ok’ 6. App prompts photo image number range ‘a’ to ‘b’ ??" edit function and cancel function, then click ‘ok’ 7. App prompts user to select identifier by giving option to select one or more rows: a) Back Row - edit function and cancel function, then click ‘ok’ b) Middle Row 01 - edit function and cancel function, then click ‘ok’ c) Middle Row 02 - edit function and cancel function, then click ‘ok’ d) Middle Row 03 - edit function and cancel function, then click ‘ok’ e) Front Row - edit function and cancel function, then click ‘ok’ NOTE: Once all applicable rows are completed, click ‘next’ or ‘cancel’ and those rows which were selected come up with the image/pic (which is darkened) along with the image name. This is viewable over the image & centred. 8. Next step App allows user to select rows for data input. For instance, user clicks on ‘Back Row’ and the App then allows the user to select each person’s face defaulting from Left to Right with a zone around the point which will capture future touches in the facial area to be identified - about the size of an icon area. It then lists them and/or adds as each face is touched / selected linking a face (point on screen) to a number. If for example the ‘Back Row’ has 7 persons, the user starting from the left of screen touching each individuals face moving from left to right (i.e. touch / register, touch / register and so on...). Meanwhile the App sets up one at a time 7 data reference points. The idea is to then ‘touch’ a face in no apparent order and a field comes up to enter the person’s details. At this point the keyboard function is viewable to enter data. Players in no apparent order can ‘press’ on their own face and type in their name and click ‘ok’ ??" with edit / cancel / redo functions. A row whether it is completed either partially or fully, the option is available to ‘save’ any entered data and then the next row is presented for data input. Default order is from Back, Middle to Front. If the iPad2 powers off due to time-out, a default save action occurs so no data is lost and when re-started the screen prompts to the last field used. The menu of ‘Back row’, Middle row 01, Middle row 02, Middle row 03 & Front row are always available to switch between each row for data input via ‘save’ functionality. An indicator next to each row in red should indicate how many names (data) has been entered until all are done as an easy glance reference. For example: Back row (3 from 7 entered) in red??? Until... Back row (7 from 7 complete!) in green??? 9. App has feature to continue later / finish with team image or a choice to select ‘New Photo Folder’. We need the functionality if a person(s) are unavailable to complete their name details until later, the ability to move onto the next team and start the process over again for the new team with the option to select and come back to complete the image / pic data input (per Point 2b.) 10. Image with its name and the data input (names) needs to be exported into a viewable file such as Excel / txt files or equivalent for use when producing the photos for print. 11. Option to export via Wi-Fi or by cable (iTunes) to PC.
