I require an application in [login to view URL] controls access to all mass storage devices like USB, Serial, CDROM, Floppy drives. As any of the above devices connected to the computer, the application should notify the administrator about the details of the device, name of the user, computer etc. And at that very time of detection, application, which is running in background as a service should disable access to that drive. Until administrator password is not entered, it cannot be enabled. Enable mode is also in two types-> read only and read-write. Rather than this, the name of the user, time of detection and device name should be inserted into a database(for reports). Rather than this, there is also an option that no user can download anything from the internet and cannot upload any attachment while surfing net i.e. disabling FTP ports. It should be enabled after Administrator permission. Administrator IP should be given in the application. No user can access the application without asministrator's password. There should be an option to change the password and Administrator IP. Now, I have program to detect the devices and get the user name, but don't have access controls on the devices.
