Software / Web Programming - price for programming negotiable: We are heading off on an overland trip this weekend travelling from London, England to Melbourne, Australia. The trip will take 9 months. I would like to publish a map to a blog site that automatically shows our current location as well as the historical locations.
I have purchased a SPOT device ([login to view URL]) which tracks your location and publishes an XML feed of your logged locations, however, it only retains the data for a period of 7 days. I have set up a Yahoo Pipe to convert the XML feed into a KML feed and then input that into Google Maps. However, as the XML feed only retains 7 days worth of historical data the KML feed and the Google Map only show 7 days worth of travels (rather than the complete journey).
The XML feed is found at a variation of the same URL. In this instance, the URL is [login to view URL] The XML feed returned is in a standard format such as:

Note: There has just been a change to the above to include additional data. See SPOT update: [login to view URL]
Task: I want to produce a solution that overcomes the fact that XML feed only retains 7 days of historical data that can be replicated for different XML feeds from variations of the same "[login to view URL]; feed (e.g., I can have multiple trips and create separate data stores for each and publish them to separate google maps).
Ultimately, the solution should be as simple and easy to use as possible as well as able to be replicated.
