I am converting from MovableType 3.3 to Wordpress 2.5 for my movie site http://ScreenRant.com. If I cut over I will do it in stages, first keeping the site looking the same to visitors and then start making changes from that point on.
I've already set up a Wordpress install for beta design work so all that would be required is for you to take my existing template(s) and convert to a Wordpress theme that I could install with one click on the dev site.
At this point I don't require any changes to logos, graphics, etc but if we're happy working with each other then we may do more work after the initial cut-over.
I would like this turned around as quickly as possible and hopefully for a reasonable price since I'm not sure whether I will choose Wordpress as the new platform and I want to decide quickly.
Thanks,
Vic
## Deliverables
1) Complete template/theme as well as complete source code of all work done. I understand that due to the differences between Movabletype and Wordpress plugins some things may not transition, so as long as the div areas are defined I can take care of replacing old plugins with new.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
2) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
The site runs on a Linux dedicated server.
