We run a number of established blog sites and currently use OpenAds as our ad server.
We would like to create an interface similar to <http://web.blogads.com/adspotsfolder/choose_blogs> which allows anyone to run ads within our blog network.
User will need to create an account (username, email, company name, password)
Ideally, the user should be able to see a list of blogs with the:
- Blog name
- Blog description
- Blog ad zones, number of ads running in that zone, cost per impressions, est ad impressions
They would then need to select the blogs and zones they want to run their ad in. This selection could either be a single ad running on a single blog, a single ad running across multiple blogs (user-selectable), or a single ad running across all of them (as a group).
They will then be taken to a page that allows them to upload their ad banner, set when the ad should begin and set the click link as on <[login to view URL];progoi=1157199_W9c3iWWxFea5wPA1ptH/n3hkT4U%3D%0A>.
Payment will be handled by PayPal and IPN.
Once the ad has been placed, it should be added via DB inserts into our OpenAds database . An email should be sent to an admin email address that a new ad has been placed. The admin should have the option of turning a banner off or cancelling it.
User's should be able to log in via a separate small back-end interface to see what ads they have running, the number of impressions they have generated, click-thru count and click thru %. This small back-end interface will simply do queries into the OpenAds database and will not allow them to edit, delete or modify their ad once it has been accepted and paid for.
The developer will need to know OpenAds in order for this to be completed effectively. All code should be well documented and adhere to strict coding standards.
This must be written in PHP and use MySQL.
