a) Want to change the background color front page on [login to view URL] (light yellow will be fine)and advise me as to how it is done.

b) the template used is the same as on another site of mine [login to view URL] but the header and footer do not show on [login to view URL] - ascertain cause, fix, advise me how to fix in the future.

You MUST know PHP (and preferrably glype 1.1).
