Design Blood Flow Restricting Bands

Dear Sir, I am a Mechanical Engineer and a Product Designer. I understand your product design requirements. As per my understanding, the veins need to be blocked with some kind of pressure that does not block the arteries. As the veins run on the outer region of the limbs, they can be blocked with external pressure. But this pressure can also block the arteries due to the same external pressure. To overcome this issue, I envisage a special type of band that puts pressure locally on the skin at different locations around the limb but does not create much internal pressure.
