In order the frame(s) to be water proof you need several things: - the frame itself to be treated with a series of substances which to prevent the water(rain) to destroy the wood, and the same time to preserve the color of the frame(in the case is tinted) and to be UV resistant; - a gasket which to create a barrier between the the frame and the glass, meant to protect the picture inside; - a second gasket to make the same job but to protect the picture from behind the frame - a fitting system which to allows you to attach the spade and to keep the frame fixed on the spade (of course will be necessary to have a well designed spade which to be inserted into the ground and to provide enough stability) For any other questions, you may open a chat room here and we'll discuss about the details.
