I have been writing and editing for over eight years now. I can edit a 300 word essay/article in about 25 to 30 minutes to be grammatically correct. I stated $8.80 per hour because $0.80 per hour will ultimately be used to pay Freelancer's fees, which gives me a solid $8 per hour for my work. The current rate is for actually editing is usually $50 per 600 words. However, my fees are negotiable. If you choose to hire me, message me prior to awarding me the job. We will negotiate the fees prior to awarding me the project. Once we agree to an actual price, I can go back and edit my bid to what we agreed to. Otherwise, if you award me the project prior to this discussion, you are agreeing to pay me my set price. Additionally, prior to actually starting the work, I will require a contract to be filled out and signed. This is a new addition to my services due to employers refusing to pay for services rendered and theft of services. To avoid this, I now require all clients to sign this form.
