I am an mechanical engineer / industrial designer. So my design will be of industrial standards and reliability. Initial Ideas for the project : A rectangular block with curved edges and both front and back faces removed is overall geometry i propose for the product.( made out of wood for aesthetics ) the light will come at top side edge and camera at a corner. at the inside bottom face a bed / blanket to keep the pet cosy. and a holder at the inside top face to fix a toy for the pet.
