Nice to see a requirement on automapper after a long day back! What makes AutoMapper interesting is that it provides some interesting conventions to take the dirty work out of figuring out how to map type A to type B. As long as type B follows AutoMapper's established conventions, almost zero configuration is needed to map two types. My client had their domain model which has a Customer entity, and they are going to show Customers in a DataGrid, and for that, we need a much lighter object CustomerViewItem, a list of which is bound to a grid. Of course, you do, especially if you have another situation like mapping of heavy data objects into DTO objects which are considered to be sent though the wire. But obviously every requirement is different and for each cases we need to check differently. I would prefer to discuss with you once before start work on it. When you think you can get back to me with your exact requirement? I would say do not award me now as I would not want to start riding a horse without get a grip on it. I would not mind to give you a free consultancy initially. If required then you can go for an initial interview as well. I am here to get a positive response from you.
