I am currently in sales. I am selling university services, education, hospital services, banking services and items for a large supermarket. I live in the upper class area of Nairobi, Kenya and speak and write excellent English.
I am a good communicator and I do not manipulate people in order to get sales, I convince them.
I am good at this job. At the bank when we launch, which I organized. I was top sales person for credit cards. I also brought in customers for new bank where I did feasibility study and set up three branches for the particular bank at Kenya's coastal area.
Currently I am selling, wholesale and in bulk for Carrefour stores. A french supermarket that started in the upper class area of Karen in Nairobi and we are beating the other largest supermarket whom I also sold for in their earlier years. We disagreed on payment structure, hence I left.
I am good at this because when I go, I go like the wind. Literally "hit the road running" because I am enthusiastic about selling.
I have a question however, what will I be selling? In which markets? Is it a FMCG? If so, is advertising required? Who will pay for the advertising?
