There is an active Actionscript code that exists for generating G-Code online, it is freely available under open source license.

I want that code editing / changing to produce either G-Code or HPGL Code, and for that code then to be passed to an appropriate COM port (typically an FTDI driver COM port or a file with an appropriate extension. Plus the file types that are accepted will need to be added to, at the moment only SVG filetypes can be opened.

The interface may also need changing and updating.
