Hi, I experience in debian 7.1 linux, I had make live debian that used on Vehicle Navigation System. There are debian minimum system plus network application , as webserver, ftp server,open vpn,etc. image size about 400MB. Please, send your requirement detil, so I will estimate time and image size. I am developing ToriOS. It is a very fast and light OS. It generally runs in around 70MB of RAM (without open applications). Full featured and based on Ubuntu 12.04 (LTS) Fastest install (in around 1 Minute) from Live CD/USB. Fully customizable including very minimal package set to allow end users to further customize the system. I am willing to include whatever default applications you require. I am also willing to add whatever auto start programs you require, and also to include default applications to be displayed on the desktop, or to write a custom menu generator for your own needs.

I've been working with different distros of Linux for 15 years now. Also i've developed my own distribution, after having used Linux From Scratch.
