I need a script written in iMacros & JavaScript to automate profile visits of group members of LinkedIn and XING groups (so it's actually two scripts that are similar). I've been playing around with this for a while, but due to my lack of coding skills I can't get it to work.
Here's an example of a defunct script that once worked for LinkedIn: [login to view URL]
At step 5 of that example script the browser would now have to scroll down to get around the lazy loading of the member profiles, like:
macro += 'URL GOTO=javascript:[login to view URL](0,10000)' + '\n';
macro += 'WAIT SECONDS=20' + '\n';
In any case I didn't get this to work yet and need someone who can do this for me.
You need a LinkedIn profile, a XING profile, join one group with each profile and then install the iMacros browser addon (use Firefox, it doesn't work properly with Chrome). Then both scripts are supposed to work like this:
1.) Go to members list of a group
2.) Open first member's profile in a new tab, leave that tab open for a few seconds and then close the tab
3.) Back to tab 1, select the next group member's profile, open it in a new tab, leave that tab open for a few seconds and then close the tab
4.) ... You get the point
I attached one of my horrible attempts to achieve this - obviously it doesn't work either, just like the script linked above.
