Apache mod_dosevasive for Debian Sarge

I would like a Debian .deb package for the 'stable/sarge' distribution for the Apache module mod_dosevasive. The module prevents more than a certain number of hits from any given IP or to a single page.
You can obtain this by searching online, building it yourself, or any method you like but it must:
* not require compilation
* must work with our current stable version of Apache: 1.3.33-6
This is a quick but easy win - I expect it to take hours, not days.
You must deliver:
* a note/email explaining the method you used (source etc)
* any files you used
* the Debian package (.deb) that can be installed using dpkg -i
