One of our web servers handles SSL communications with a large number of legacy terminals in the field that are not compatible with the newer SHA-2 certificates and we're hoping to find a temporary solution to get us by with a SHA-1 certificate from a CA that clients will recognize.
To be clear, a self-signed certificate will not work. We're hoping someone can help us get an SHA-1 certificate for this server or someone might have a work around. The goal is not to have to update over 1,000 devices in the field all at once. If we can get an SHA-1 certificate for even a few months that would be a big help.
Please apply if you have a solution for us.
I will migrate sha1 to sha2 ssl certificate
With this Gig, I will migrate your SHA1 SSL Certificate to SHA2 SSL Certificate.
Your hosting control panel must have SSL/TLS installation manager to be able to install the upgraded SSL.
Hi there- just a quick note that Comodo are still issuing SHA-1 Certificates valid for a year from purchase data and they'll stop offering them on Jan 2016- better get in fast!
