IMPORTANT: Please read the following requirements carefully, and bid only if you agree to all the terms. Thank you!
I'm looking for someone to translate e-mails for me from Chinese to English and from English to Chinese. Those are casual e-mails, common vocabulary and there are seldom any advanced words in them. Very easy to translate.
Since these are very simple translations, the starting pay is $0.005 per source word (i.e. $1 for 200 words). The starting pay is non-negotiable, so please don't bid on this project if this rate is not acceptable for you! The starting pay may be adjusted later if your work is good.
The volume of e-mails vary by day. I pay weekly (setting a milestone payment at the beginning of each week). The weekly pay that you can expect can vary from as little as $5 to as much as $20, depending on the workload.
I use an online ticket system to distribute workload between translators who work for me. It means you are free to work any time you want. As long as you have time to work and there are some open tickets to translate, you can earn money.
I always pay on time weekly, and I'm a nice person to work with. Check my previous projects for my ratings and feedback.
When bidding, please set deadline to 180 days. This will give you maximum flexibility in terms of how much you want to work for me, and will assure that we don't run out of time before all the budget is spent. Please note that deadline is not meaningfull for this project anyways, since I pay per translated word. So setting long deadline will not affect your chances of winning this project.
