retrieve physical path of website from IIS using [login to view URL]
list box has sites , I want to be able to highlight an item and have the physical path displayed. I know this is possible using [login to view URL] [login to view URL] but I dont know how to form the code.
I need this to be manipulated for me to use again to get physical paths.
remote connection to project available.
microsoft path property:
[login to view URL](v=vs.90).aspx
code I use to retrieve sites:
Dim Root As ServerManager
Dim server2 As String
server2 = [login to view URL]("textbox", "3")
'**************** Server 1 ************************
Try
Root = [login to view URL](server1)
Catch ex As Exception
MsgBox("A connection could not be established or server does not exist - try IP connection?" & vbCrLf & [login to view URL])
End Try
Try
For Each dir As Site In [login to view URL] 'For each parent site we go through and search for children apps/sites
For Each Child As [login to view URL] In [login to view URL]
ReDim Preserve f(n)
'f(n) = (Mid([login to view URL], InStr([login to view URL], "/") + 1))
f(n) = [login to view URL]("Default Web Site", (server1))
[login to view URL](f(n))
n = n + 1
Next
Next
Catch ex As Exception
MsgBox("Could not retrieve the Sites, as a connection could not be established or server does not exist- try IP connection?" & vbCrLf & [login to view URL])
End Try
