Designing of E-Commerce Website

We are in the process of rebranding our company and our website (Removed by Admin) . We offer wide range of products including, Electronics, home furnishing, Perfumes, beauty products, tools, outdoor products, CDs, DVDs, Sports goods, clothes, shoes, etc. We have selected to move to Magento. We need an expert designer to design an innovative website for us. The key would be that the site is: • Easy to navigate. • Design presents vital information to the visitors • Design looks unique • Design showcases the various brands available with us and also shows the depth in our product line. Scope of work would be to design the entire Magento skin. Key point in the scope: 1. Homepage – needs to be exciting. Do share some references (from other sites) which you feel match our business needs. 2. There should be consistent style sheet across the site. The same should be compatible across different browsers and also across different versions of the same. The same should also work on different tablets and PDA’s. 3. Each category would have its landing page. 4. Some of the key things I’d like to be showcased are : Latest Arrivals & Best Sellers. These would be for the entire site and also within each category. 5. All the pages designed need to have a perfect CSS. 6. The designer would be required to submit atleast five different homepage designs and once we select, the same would be enhanced. We need someone who has previously designed e-commerce websites which off wide range of products and would require reverences that could be verified. As with any project, specs are not perfect nor did it define line by line. Once I narrow down on a particular design, I might need to make few relatively minor changes. It would not be any major shift or major work, it would be prudent to assume between 10 to 20% support work, if required. I’ve have ample amount of experience as an employer on this site and others. I expect work be done in professional way, timely fashion. I expect full dedication to this project for next one week. Time is of essence for this project. I'm looking for long term partner and not just short term work.
