I have a website up and running - [login to view URL] - I've managed to get together the magento base along with some basic CSS and some add-ons, work it up into a site I'm more or less happy with and have a functional front and back end. However, there are still several bugs remaining and it is now far beyond my level of expertise to troubleshoot them.
Job would be to run through the site and sort out the minor issues, apply some industry best practice and fix major bugs, ensuring the site is ready to be marketed and start receiving purchases.
Known bugs - current issue logging in on firefox/mobile version, but this works fine with Chrome.
When the option to display all products is enabled in the back-end, the website is extremely slow to respond (likely, according to Bluehost support, to be SQL issue).
Would like to upgrade magento to 1.9 but this is likely to cause some issues with compatability and (I'm fairly sure I didn't but) there is a chance that early on I may have edited some core files.
I currently, due to unfamiliarity with Magento and this seemingly being the easiest way to get two different themes running for site and store section, have two themes running concurrently - one for basic pages and one for the shop pages. If this is not an issue, that's fine, but if it's poor practice in terms of site functionality, if you could combine these two themes into one that would make life a lot easier in the future.
I would like to have all products currently on the site duplicated into the UK Store (from Main Store).
The site is currently a little bit of a mess, so ironing out the creases would be greatly appreciated.
