Build a Website

I am currently trying to determine the feasibility of setting up a membership website based on enabling members of the site to view various types of content. Your skills/experience: Ideally an architect with a flair around SaaS/IaaS and knows how to plug everything together, and anticipate for growth and a) The content is streamed only and uses technology to dynamically modify attributes of the video to ensure a seamless viewing experience. B) Virtual reality, both 2D, and 3D with both 180 and 360 leveraging the dynamic streaming mentioned in the a) above. C) Users have to enroll in a monthly membership pay via credit card. Many sites offer a monthly recoccuring, although I would like to see a bank of minutes being purchased and those minutes never expire. On this item, a want which is not a deal breaker is to have some video content to consume the minutes more rapidly. For example a 17 minute documentary about making violins would be deducted from the users back for each minute, whereas a 3D VR 4K latest release may consume 4 minutes per minute from a members bank. D) The content is stored in an easy to use content management platform. It would allow different types of media be stored with the main piece, such as demographic information about the film, interviews with the actors/director and have the ability to implement set-up taxonomy about said film which may be different. For example: Year filmed Year released Actors Producer Contains animals Foreign Film etc. These are left in a way where tagging can be done to drive this taxonomy. The solution needs to be inexpensive as in 80% of cases we will make not a cent. I prefer the solution to bring together the best in breed of web services (SaaS/IaaS), where I would hope to see the following: 1. No start-up costs and ideally free unless we start hitting significant revenues. 2. No contract commitments. 3. The ability to scale up quickly (e.g. 2 hours) because we have added demand due to a new file. Moreover, also the capacity to scale down. So basically a shared environment. 4. I am a minimalist, so I only want what is absolultely needed. Less high quality is worth 10 times more. Here are the capabilities which I want to be able to plug together and go with little development. [Note: I will descope something if it makes the solution overly complex]. 1. Web Server with little impact to me if the video is a hit and has 800K views a day. If there is a stunning design, I would be prepared to invest a small amount. 2. Content Manager: This is where the media is loaded, and we can schedule content to be released in a certain order and time and day. 3. Potentially some transcoding to be able to meet the viewer's expectations 4. Payment processor and ideally credit card dispute capabilities where risk is shared. 4. Back-up So after of a few months playing around with this, I want a second opinion of what is out there in the marketplace. Are they affordable. Ease of integration (ideally with strong (but not too cozy) relationship. Deliverable: I would like a brief but well thought out visual representation of at one solution showing integrations/interfaces, basics on costs over two years based on: *20 videos initially growing 10 per year (3 GB file size) *Y1 300 users watch 2 hours per week *Y2 600 users watching 2 hours per week My internal criteria of the feasibility are cost, maintainability, and a vendors terms which would is pro growth, Some keywords AWS, Member, WordPress
