Need help with recovering data from a laptop's hard drive that has a damaged partition. Laptop won't boot with the drive in place so I've plugged it in via usb to another machine as an external drive. I've tried a few free utilities unsuccessfully. I am currently running TestDisk, which recognises the disk and the boot partition and the data partition.

Hi. I'm an experienced System Administrator. Our company has ~ 130 desktop computers, ~ 45 laptops and 3 servers. In the past I recovered data from damaged HDDs several times. For this I use a single tool. Is bad you already used a lot of utilities. Are two possibilities to do this job: 1. I give you a partition recovery tool with data recovery (is portable) or 2. You give me a Team Viewer access to your computer, I copy and I run the tool on your computer. Success is not 100% guaranteed. Is a good idea to tell me what data you need to recovery and where. Regards
