I have a template in Word (developed in an old version) that
1. has a single userform that will no longer show - I did some edits and it stopped working - not sure why :(
2. when the one userform does work - the template wont work in Word 2013 64 bit
3. was originally developed in Word 2003 and needs to be native for Word 2013
4. is developed by non-developers and needs to be cleaned up considerably
I need this functionality to be completed quickly - even if it involves exporting the userform and other pieces of code to make it into something new. Perfect code functionality and remarks essential.
Current Functionality:
1. user creates a new document based on the template
2. users completes first page of userform (some basic client data and chooses by ticking boxes)
3. as each product box is ticked - a tab shows up for the user to edit some key data
4. once the user has chosen all the products they want (by ticking the boxes on the front tab), and has entered all the data on the various tabs, they click the 'Make it So' button
5. This button calls the code that
- firstly removes the sections (for those products not selected)
- secondly does a global search and replace (uses <> as field tags in the document and matches the field names on the userform)
- finally cleans up the document
From a business perspective, it is a template used to create an agreement for customers to sign on selected products and with custom pricing
