Note: If you do not read the entire description, your bid will be deleted immediately. I would like you to analyze a WordPress site and make recommendations to speed up the site. This initial project is for the analysis and recommendations. With your recommendations, include a bid for you to complete the changes for me. If awarded, I will give you the site's URL and the WP admin credentials. Background: I've built a WordPress site on a VPS. The home page is about 1 megabyte but takes about 6-7 seconds to load. It's not an overly complicate page. I haven't yet switched the nameservers to point to CloudFlare and I want to get the site as fast as possible before utilizing the CDN. Your job: 1. Analyze the site. Are plugins causing the delays? Are plugins improperly configured? GTMetrix shows a lot of "delays" with JS and CSS files. 2. Recommend changes. And, 3. Quote a price for you to make the changes. I want a WordPress expert. At the top of your response to me, tell me explicitly: "I've optimized XX WordPress installations in projects just like this and I am confident that I can help you because. . . . " I apologize in advance for being a bit of a jerk but I'm tired of receiving bids that have nothing to do with project requirements. Hi, I've optimized probably more than a 100 WordPress installations in projects just like this and I am confident that I can help you because I know everything that could cause issues with the speed, server side and WP side. I will need from you not only WP Admin Access, but more importantly SSH and FTP access to debug the server side too and understand exactly what is missing and what can be added. We can but persevere I guess. I'd love to have a look at your website and recommend changes.
