Android Development Assistance

We are an advanced communications company with our own software applications for Android. We are looking for a freelance Android native (Java and Kotlin) developer to assist us with the following: • Optimise build system & resolve any outstanding code issues • Assist us in optimising build times To be eligible for commencing work with us, you should be: • An Android developer with at least 4 years experience • Experience with developing apps for versions of Android from 4.4.2 through to 9.X • Experience with Android build systems and their configuration intricacies • Experience with creating Android apps that fit all screens and resolutions • Be able to show previously developed app examples • Have an analytical mind for solving problems and thinking out of the box • Be living within the United Kingdom • Be willing to work ongoing on future development Future development with the right freelancer will include: • Working with us in designing new features and capabilities within our apps • Provide options on paths to take with development with appropriate timelines for each option and risk/reward analysis We will want to talk in person before work commences, so please bear this in mind before applying for the work. Proposals from locations outside the United Kingdom will not be considered at this time.
