The android device needs to run a particular app that is an official android app. The app is used to validate cards against a government database and it’s the only approved method to validate the card. At the same time a single scan must also send your ID to our Hikvision FaceTime terminal two validate your ID plus face scan. So a single scan must do 2 things. We are thinking to use an Arduino device paired with an NXP PN7161 chip or something similar so that we can scan the card and send one packet to the android app which is on a particular device and the other packet which contains the UID of the card we send to the Hikvision device for face plus card matching to the profile. We already have face plus card matching to the profile however we can’t get the android app to work With a custom chip.
