setup VPN server on a VPS like digital ocean

this is complex according your description. You need a router that support vpn,like openwrt, ubnt. for the android phone , it's easy.

Hi, I can install vpn on your server, just rent KVM VPS and give me login details. don't rent OpenVZ VPS than KVM VPS. I can create user at vpn server so you can download configuration file for android and use vpn with your android device. I can record all commands I type when I install vpn server, that's easier for you than that you move the whole server to another location/hosting. did you check if your router supports VPN? if it supports, I can give you instructions how to connect router and vpn server (Login, password, server address and VPN protocol type) after vpn server is installed. but here are some cons: Managing your VPN settings on router is harder, you will get bandwidth loss when navigating to websites in your own country as your traffic goes to the other country and back again, Configuration and encryption power depends on your router. Most routers lack the power to run anything more than the most basic encryption or tunneling protocols, Blocks some incoming connections. By its very nature, a VPN is designed to block incoming unauthorized connections, Traffic between devices and the router is not secured. Because it’s the router doing the encryption, traffic between the device and the router will not yet be encrypted. regards, sascha
