What I expect: • Assess the current fleet of cloud servers, documenting configuration, performance baselines, and any immediate risks. • Introduce or refine automated build, patch, and backup routines (Terraform, Ansible, or comparable tooling—your choice, provided it is fully scriptable and repeatable). • Implement monitoring and alerting that shows real-time health and clear historical trends; integration with Grafana or CloudWatch is preferred. • Produce concise runbooks for common operational tasks and disaster-recovery procedures. • Leave the environment in a state where a junior admin can manage day-to-day operations confidently.
