A Google Apps Script is required that keeps an eye on a specific Shared Drive folder, reads every new PDF dropped there, pulls the text inside each file (all PDFs follow the same layout), and then appends the captured fields to a running Google Sheet without overwriting prior rows. Core flow • Trigger: On-upload or timed trigger scans the folder for new PDFs. • Extraction: Parse text directly—no tables or forms, just plain body text in a predictable order. • Mapping: Identify the same key values every time and place them into predefined columns. • Output: Append the results to the bottom of one master sheet, preserving existing data. • Idempotency: Flag each processed PDF so it never imports twice. The deliverable is the fully commented Apps Script, already bound to the sheet, plus brief setup notes so I can deploy or modify the folder ID later. Unit tests or demo data welcome.
