Idea is to emulate a joystick by storing instruction in an arduino muxshield, storing order on sd card for instance
Project in two phases :
1) learning mode
recording indentification at plugin of joystick on sdcard
using anything display and buttton/keyboard allow to record two type of instruction that can be played back by the muxshield without the original joystick
2)playing mode
plugin or power on arduino should replay exact hex sequence of the original joystick (and should be recognized as the same)
each input of muxshield configured should replay same joystick function that has been assigned to him digital or analog one
a strong knowledge in USB usual comminication is necessary , this project will have some upgrade as soon this initial step is reached

Hello, this can be done easily with a Teensy3 ($19 usd) and a USB host Shield. There will be maybe a very slight difference in analog values due the conversion, but it should record and replay any sequence.
