His many great grandson François 'Françis' Laurin was born in Napierville Québec. His own descendants are concentrated in New York and Massachusetts as well as Québec. The author has undertaken to revise (with her kind permission) a previous work by Anita Laurin of Chazy, N.Y. and flesh out and update her already impressive research about the twelve generations of Laurins in North America.
