We would like to produce a whitepaper (approx 8 pages) targeting Managing Partners & or Owners of UK Accountancy firms. The top level theme of the whitepaper will be the challenges & problems facing accountants as they transition from a world predominantly focussed in "tax compliance" to "tax advisory". The biggest challenge we see is that they need to completely change their approach and business strategy. If they don't adapt they need to be prepared for the potential that their business could fail. Accountants are very reactive and this is the message that will make them read on. Ideally we want to identify a scenario where this has happened before, a scenario that an Accountant could relate to in the services industry. We will provide the key problems and challenges that we would like to be included in the whitepaper. We will also provide details of various tools and solutions to help accountants prepare for the the challenge. The conclusion needs to portray that we understand the sheer scale of this challenge but that we can also help. We will provide a skeleton structure and bullet points, including sources for reference.
