This project seeks to upgrade and existing vacation home rental website ([url removed, login to view]) design & layout with a custom designed logo, new graphics layout and additional functionality. The project should be built using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and coded in Visual Basic using ASP.NET. Graphics should be built using either Macromedia Fireworks MX or Adobe Photoshop CS. The graphics must use layers for each element. The project deliverables will include all final and source graphics files in Fireworks MX or Photoshop CS, all final and source Visual Studio project files and any third party Visual Studio add-ins used. In addition, the deliverables will include the following completed pages:
*Welcome (home) page
*Rates & Availability (calendar) page
*Reservations & Contact Us form
*Transportation page
*Photo Gallery page
*Virtual Tour page
*Testimonial page
*Other Information page.
All original files & source code must be editable and will convey to us at the conclusion of the project.
We are looking for input into design and layout possibilities and will select from a list provided.
Photos for the gallery will be provided.
Each page of the site should display a unique set of photo snapshots and should incorporate a navigation (menu) system to reach the other pages of the site.
The logo should be of a snow skiing rocky mountain theme. The title is Big Horn at Big Sky Montana. The slogan is Your Vacation Home Away From Home.
The Welcome page must include a link to the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce via a provided graphic and month & year comboboxes that will search & display the availability calendar page, see [url removed, login to view]
The Rates & Availability page must include a calendar (that is editable by us) that shows dates as Available or Unavailable based on color coding the days on the calendar, similar to the way it is done at [url removed, login to view];Year=2007
The Reservations & Contact US form must include a table showing current rates and rental rules. The form portion must have required fields. In addition, certain fields must be validated prior to submission. The form will be submitted to an email address and to an SQL Server database. A page upon successful form submission should be displayed to the user upon success of the submission and entry into the database. This page should also have links to Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover Card graphic logos
The Transportation page must include a link to Google maps showing directions from the airport in Bozeman Montana to Big Sky Montana and from Big Sky Montana to Yellowstone National Park.
The photo gallery should display snapshots of photos with links to 1024x768 photos. Right clicking to save the photos must be disabled.
We are looking for input on how to accomplish the virtual tour (see [url removed, login to view] for example).
The testimonial page is where guest comments will be entered. Comments must not be displayed until we approve them. We must have the ability to delete and edit comments. Comments must be saved in and displayed from an SQL Server database.
