I need an audio file fixed. A sound designer had this feedback: "But based off the info you provided, it sounds like you need to: A. slow down the speed of the recording. This can be done with Audacity (free download)... [login to view URL] ...and then use something like 'change speed" under the Effect menu. For glitches and drops in the sound, that's a little tougher to fix and I'm not sure how extreme the issue is. But if not too bad, you might be able to use something like Izotope's RX to fix it... [login to view URL] Other than that, I'd suggest posting to a site like Upwork and hiring someone there." Upon further review, the speed may be fine. The hard drive did something weird to it. If you can fix it, please send a short sample.

Hi there, So if I understand correctly you are looking to change the speed of a recording (or tempo of a song) and had posted some feedback received from a sound designer. Let me understand a bit more what we are talking about here, and send me a better reference to the audio file, specs (bit-rate - freq - format) and the overall file length. Depending on how much quality you have in the recording (cause there is nothing you to avoid a quality loss here) we can obtain a pretty good result after processing. Let me know. Best, Alex
