As noted in the city comments. Verify the preliminary load calculations of 5.2 kVA connected load and 5.6 kVA calculated demand load. Perform official voltage drop and conduit fill calculations to finalize the 150A feeder wire size. Confirm California Electrical Code (CEC) and Title 24 compliance for the specified exterior/interior lighting and sensors. Provide detail and plan location for grounding rods if required. Provide one of the following: final CAD drafting with plans as PDF prints and original CAD for owners use, OR provide redlines allowing the owner to draft and finalize the electrical sheets. Sign and stamp the final electrical plans for City of Taft permit approval. Additional Services (Billed Separately / As Needed) Plan Check Revisions: Respond to City of Taft plan check comments and provide a stamped second submittal if required. Construction Support: Provide construction administration services at an agreed-upon hourly rate if an on-site inspector requires field changes or additional documentation. Provided Reference Documents CAD files will be provided to the Electrical Engineer if required. C-01: Site Plan, Table of Contents and General Notes. E-101: Electrical Site Plan. E-501: Single Line Diagram and Legend. E-511: Electrical Fixture Schedule and Notes. First submittal to city (Note: The first submittal targeted a standalone/off the shelf solar generator setup. Based on the comments received we no longer think this a viable approach, as noted above the project will use a grid tied system. City comments on first submittal (Note: see scope above for specific comment numbers that require electrical engineering assistance). Exclusions Engineer estimating is not required. Bid support and review are not required. Required Deliverables Final stamped Electrical Engineering Plan Set and any required electrical calculations or memos/reports (Owner is not aware of any memos or reports required). Digital version of all documents prepared in native format and PDF, if Electrical Engineer selected to provide drafting instead of readlines. Timeline and Compensation Draft Review: Target date for initial draft review is 2 weeks from Notice to Proceed (NTP). Final Delivery: Target date for final stamped deliverables is 1 week after receiving all comments and instructions from the owner. Hello sir I have 11 years of experience as a Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer leading an electrical design team across commercial site power distribution, Title 24 energy calculations, photometric egress lighting analysis, and municipal plan check approvals. We specialize in preparing permit-ready electrical plan sets compliant with the California Electrical Code (CEC) and California Energy Code. Engineering Scope & Plan Check Strategy for Taft Mini Golf Grid-Tied 120/240V Service & Panelboard Design: Reviewing and finalizing the single-line diagram (SLD) for a new 150A, 1-phase, 3-wire utility service drop from PG&E. Verifying main disconnect sizing, service entrance conductors, and branch distribution for site lighting, maintenance receptacles, and ADA bathroom loads (mini-tank water heater, exhaust fan, lighting). Load Calculations & Voltage Drop Sizing: Re-evaluating preliminary load calculations (5.2 kVA connected / 5.6 kVA demand) and performing official feeder voltage drop and conduit fill calculations to confirm 150A conductor sizing and breaker protection under CEC standards. Grounding & Bonding System: Designing a CEC-compliant Grounding Electrode System (GES) utilizing dual driven copper grounding rods and grounding electrode conductors (GEC) tailored for the gravel-foundation ADA bathroom structure.
