Hi, I think I'd be a great fit for this project as I am familiar with the majority of the core technologies you are seeking. I recently was the Lead DevOps Engineer at a recently IPO'ed startup in NYC (at its peak valued at 2bil). During my nearly 4 years there I built our internal Platform as a Service with multiple tooling in golang. This PaaS ran on top of GCP & AWS requiring me to become intermittently familiar with Cloud Computing. As I was running my infrastructure on multiple cloud providers in a distributed fashion, I also needed to provide highly scalable and distributed databases. This was all backed by a Paxos powered K/V store similar to Consul/ZooKeeper. Of course to keep it all talking I had to use cloud networking, and I had to provide excellent SLA's to my engineers - so nearly everything was self healing (Fault Tolerant) :) The only thing I haven't really played around with is the "blockchain", I am familiar with the merkle tree data structure - I've used it more with the Certificate Transparency Logs.
