Hi, I was going through the details of your project and I'm interested in re-designing the house in UK. I'm an Architect currently based in Kolkata, India, with expertise in residential designs. More importantly, I design houses based on VAASTU since some more guidelines need to be maintained over normal house plans in order to design a house based on Vaastu. I'm also currently designing a residence based on Vaastu at Jodhpur for a good client of mine and you can see the plans and other projects on my profile. Your house seems a blend of UK design and would be interesting since you wish to redesign it based on Indian culture and Vaastu. I might suggest some more changes according to room placements since they would be necessary. Your idea of kitchen by remodelling the garage area is perfect since kitchen would be best in the south. It would be great if we can discuss more in detail since there are some more issues like obtaining permission from the council or BARNET and making applications for Lawful Development Certificate.
